Housing research
ORC International has an established and long-standing pedigree in providing research services for the housing sector.
We actively participated in the recent STAR consultation process, which looked at a suitable replacement for the mandatory STATUS surveys used for many years. The outcome endorsed our view that the new approach should be highly flexible, allowing providers to conduct surveys as detailed as they actually require.
ORC International is ideally placed to meet these needs and our approach has consistently been to offer bespoke, flexible services to our clients. We are able to provide the full service process or just elements of it. In terms of data collection we will suggest the most appropriate methodology (post, telephone, face-to-face, online) for your needs and can maximise response rates with innovative survey design.
We continue to refine and enhance our offer and have streamlined our data collection costs so that continued emphasis can be placed on a high quality service with a focus on providing data that can be used to influence service improvements.
In addition to STAR, which gives an overview of satisfaction with general services, we are also ideally placed to conduct ongoing feedback surveys of specific services tenants or residents receive (for example repairs, complaints, ASB).
An important and differentiating feature of our offer is that we are also able to supplement the base offer with a range of added-value services to ensure that the maximum benefit is derived from undertaking surveys. Options include:
- Advanced statistical analysis – to identify key influences on satisfaction levels
- Linkage –- with employee survey findings to determine improvement areas
- Text analytics – helping to add further insight to qualitative feedback
- Action planning – making sure survey findings are converted into clear actions
- Dynamic reporting – providing online, intuitive access to your survey data
- tabtool – an easy-to-use facility to help data interpretation
- Red flag reports – to facilitate prompt responses where issues need resolution
