Welcome and introduction
We will introduce the concept of action planning employee engagement research, describe its importance for individuals and the organisations as a whole, and highlight the common factors that are considered critical for successful action planning.

Understanding the barriers
The key to successful action planning lies in understanding potential obstacles and how to hurdle, dismantle and work round them. We will use our knowledge of working with other organisation to identify what barriers may lie in the road for your organisation and how these can be overcome.

Working with data part 1
Employee surveys generate huge volumes of data, so it is important to cut through the noise and identify the real issues. There are various hints, tips and tools that can be used to identify the key drivers of engagement for staff. In this section we will show that you don’t need to be a research expert or statistician to work with data and identify the most significant results.

When interpreting survey data and identifying areas requiring action, it is important to recognise that not all issues can be tackled at once. This session will advise on how to determine which improvement actions will prove the most beneficial

Once you have identified your priorities you need to turn them into high impact, realistic plans. We will offer guidance on how to develop SMART action plans and how to ensure that they are progressed over time, and do not fizzle out once the initial excitement has died down.
