Benchmarking

At ORC International we have established a number of networking groups to encourage the exchange of survey data and ideas and enable best practice to be shared:

  • Employee Research
  • Public Sector
  • Private Sector

As well as providing data exchanges on key questions, the groups provide a forum for discussion on a number of levels.

Experiences in running surveys are shared, including questionnaire design, response rates, reporting style, communication and action planning. In addition, the groups allow members to discuss business best practices.

How much does it cost?

Membership is free of charge. We carry out the processing of data exchanges and production of reports on the understanding that the data supplied can be used to update national and industry averages used in our work. This does not compromise ownership or copyright as individual contributors will never be named outside the group; only averages will be used.

Who should join?

Members have a wide range of in-house experience. Some have run several surveys; others are planning their first. The size of organisation is not important, as many of the issues are the same.

How to exchange data prior to a networking event

To submit data, please use the appropriate form below. The data exchange forms contain a set of standard questions. Your own questions may not be worded exactly as shown on the form, but please send us your own wording and, as long as it is judged to be true to the spirit of the standard question, your data will be included.
